hey mamas lets see your cloth diaper stash

 ok guys iwas thinking we would get more than this with all the new mommies trying cloth this go around

Okayyyy, I will post a pic. I have one toddler sized AIO. The rest are made by me. The infant ones from a tutorial online and the bigger ones are RRP which I really like. I just use Gerber pull on pants over them. Some have velcro (like the infant ones) I mostly use a diaper pin-easy enough to do. I stuff them with a prefold with a washcloth inside for my 2yr. old. I made a couple with that anti-pill fleece for a built in cover.

I have a small stash but I think I am ok for the first 3 months! :) First row... 24 prefolds 13 flats (receiving blankets) 12 liners (I need to make 12 more) 20 wipes (need to make 20 more) made by me second row 20 fitteds (made by me) I think I have about 20 NB sposies (for the first few days) 3rd row 20 NB fleece covers (snaps) made by me 4 dappi NB covers (pull ons) 4th row 14 MD fleece covers (snaps) made by me DD night time diapers and inserts! I am waiting on my PUL covers (OS) to come in!!! 10 in total! SO am I missing anything for my LO NB stage???? We are sticking to prefolds, flats and covers after NB stage! cheaper for us! I might make him some fitteds cause it is so much fun to do!

 thats a great newborn stash and u know when peyton was tiny i just trifolded a prefold into a cover and it was sooooo easy

if your babe is anything like peyton you wont even need cover for most of the time i just let peyton wear babylegs and no pants so they wouldnt get wet and she wore fitteds and pinned prefolds alot and i changed her probably 1 time every hour and a half bc she was a super pooper and we never had problems i love itty bittys in cloth 

well that is good to know! I like making my own because is a lot more cheaper lol so I can make 14 medium Fitteds and use the infant prefolds trifolded in the cover and i should be ok for the medium stage??? I am just trying to save money that is why I got some receiving blankets at a garage sale for flats! :)

 hey the blankets work great i use mine to stuff inside pockets and i do sometimes use them as flats bc i can get such a trim fit with flats

One of my new favorite things is making prefolds out of old t shirts they are cute and soft but i can also get a good stretch out of them its easy to do and if u can sew a fitted then a prefold is a piece of cake u can make flats as well and i really loved contours inside covers those are pretty easy to make as well i went through our closets and pulled out tons of old shirts i plan on sewing up soon

i just cut 2 squares out and for flats u just sew the two turned and top stitch 

with prefolds for extra absorbancy in the middli i cut scrap pieces for a middle layer and sew it on the inside before i sew the 2 pieces together and top stitch if i am not explaining well let me know i can post a pic 2
