Are most Oops pregnancies girls?

My latest way of dealing with boy #3 is to pretend that this was an oops pregnancy, that we weren't really trying so when he is born I won't feel that people were thinking I was trying for a girl and got disappointed, make sense?

I'm surprised by how many women have told me about their unplanned pregnancies, usually the last child, and it's always been a girl. My DD (first born aged 9) was an unplanned pregnancy so I'm starting to wonder if most unplanned pregnancies are girls? My other 3 were all planned and yes, all boys. Of course this doesn't change anything but it does add to the sting...

Everywhere I look I see familes with 2 boys and 2 girls, it's not fair, why did I end up with 3 boys and 1 girl! I bet those families weren't even bothered about gender, when all I wanted was a another girl.......

We went out on Sunday, DD was all dressed up, she got so many compliments on how nice she looked, her outfit, how she was growing into a beautiful girl, my sons got the usual "hello, how are you?" ... no fuss, no compliments, no comments on their nice clothes.....

Sorry this has turned into a rant, it just annoys me the way my boys get over looked by everyone. Do people thiink they need less attention because they are boys???

 Sorry to go so into detail but..

The only actual planned child we had was our first together (DS2). The others were kinda like.."hey, lets start preparing to sway for a girl.." then I would get pg before I got the chance. With my DD..I knew that I was Oing and we decided to give it a go for our shot at a Spring time baby..and a girl so I popped a claritin and we did shallow bd and jump and dump. boy was I surprised when she was a girl!

ETA: My first was with a different guy and we were not swaying one way or another or really trying..

Also, I see a lot of ALL gender families when we go out. Probably more than I see mixed or mixed with the opposite at the end.

dd #3 was also a surprise though not nearly as big of a surprise. We had tried for 9 mo and then she was conceived when we gave up.

 I had three conceived on some form of birth control= BOY, BOY, BOY!

 Yep, I'm with luv4boys, my first son was an oops and this baby is a boy - an oopsie too! 

Mine first child is ooooopppsssssss baby boy...I used Maybe baby to avoid ovulation...

My only unplanned pregnancy is my only son.

 My first two boys were unplanned- along the lines of lets start considering a child soon and winding up pregnant that month.  This baby was a total (loved) surprise- breastfeeding and not having cycles.  It appears it's a girl- but I have heard of lots of people having girls if they get pregnant while BF.

All 3 of my boys were ooops! but my last child was planned, and she is a girl.
