I wanted to book La Casa del Camino hotel at Laguna Beach which was recommended by ladies here and unfortunately it is not available...:( I was wondering about the hotel The Tides of Laguna Beach? It has a good prices, looks nice, anyone knows it? Steffani? What could be my others options - I don“t want to spend more than 200USD per night and want ocean view. Hope someone can help!

Hi bbbaby. It is a bummer about Casa del Camino. Have you tried Casa Laguna Inn and Spa. They might have ocean view rooms for the price. It is going to be tricky. FYI it is an adorable hotel but the rooms are a bit small. They have larger cottages and suites but they are spendy.
I am not quite sure about The Tides. I don't have any friends that have stayed there but let me ask around.

I stayed at Casa Laguna last spring and loved it =) Can't remember the price, but I had an ocean view and was up high in the old "artist studios." The larger suites are down lower off the courtyard and don't see the ocean as easily. Each morning begins with a gourmet breakfast in the courtyard.

Another picture - our room is up in that building, at the end. The suites are down and to the left, plus there is a big fancy suite above the pool which is behind us in the picture.

Each night, there is wine and cheese in the main living room of the Casa Laguna B&B. I took this picture from this room, just before we went to dinner.

Last one - Aliso Beach is a very short drive from Casa Laguna.

Steffani and ChocolateChica, thank you for replies! I have discarted Tides, it is not in the beach. But I found Laguna Riviera Resort - great location (directly on the beach), nice renovated rooms (by photos in internet) and really cheap. Does anyone know it? I will check definitely tonight (once I will have more time) Casa Laguna B&B, it looks like a great option. I have to make decision soon, it looks the weekends at Laguna Beach are busy!!!

Casa Laguna is probably a little nicer, cozy and quite. Laguna Resort is not as nice on the outside (not that that matters a ton) but the rooms are probably fine. Definitely a better location. You are kind of in the center of eveything and can walk. At Casa Laguna it is a bit more south so you have to drive.
Let me know when you are coming and I will give you restaurant recommendations etc.
