You guys are too sweet. Thanks for following up.
Well,Dr. Potter did my ultrasound and when he was done he said, "It looks like things are finally taking off." I have a possible 6-7 follies that will be at a good size. I have several others but they are small. He thinks we might get an egg out of them but it is doubtful. There is also a lead one that is at 20 but he thinks that it will no longer be good by the time we are done stimming. I am doing that an additional 2 maybe 3 days by the way. I am concerned about egg quality with the low start, low E2 different sized follies etc but Dr. P said that is not necessarily true. I am doing MS so hopefully that helps my odds. I hate this waiting game. Now I wait for my E2 and then for Wednesday to come to see if they have grown to where they need to. It is constantly an I don't know lets hope for the best process.
Pippi, I read your blog and our stories are similar with the extended stimming etc. You had more follies though. I am hoping that your consult goes well tomorrow and that you can get some good info to help you move forward with a January cycle.
On another note, I was in the waiting room with a lovely woman who is going through her 3rd cycle strictly for infertility. I was struck by the unfairness of it all for her. I could see how much she just wants a child. This whole process has definitely put things in perspective for me and made me so much more compassionate with women dealing with infertility. Even though I can get pregnant I have discovered things that my body does not do and does do and I have no control. I went home right after my appt and gave my beautiful, sweet son the biggest hug and kiss.
Thanks for all of the support my lovely IG Ladies.
