I started to take Calcium and a slow-mag suppliment recently and yesterday I was almost bedriden with painful gas pains. I am still really bloated today with a tender to touch stomache. I was just wondering if it could be the suppliments. I am also taking chlorella, B-complex, femaprin, and shaklee vita-lea, and azo cranberry tablets (just a few days). I just want to know what I need to avoid mixing next time.

Sorry, I will list what each one is and what I take it for.

Slow-mag is a calcium/Magnesium Suppliment

Shaklee Vita-lea is just my daily multi-vitamins. Shaklee is the company and they are whole-food based

I take a B-complex with supplies me with folic acid and to extend my LP

Femaprin is a vitex/B6 suppliment to regulate cycles

Azo Cranberry is suppose to help prevent UTI and give cranberry suppliment

Chlorella is a single-celled green algae used to remove toxins in your system

I think I added too much too fast (suppliments that is) and somehow caused a bowel obstruction. I feel so much better now but my stomach is still very tender from the waist down.

My accupuncturist said that magnesium can give you bad wind.

Try massageing your abdomin in a clockwise motion, this should help "move things along" This works for me when I get bad gas. Ignore the txt on the pic.
