TMPOB - Waiting to re-test for the 3rd time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so annoyed!  Just got results that the 2nd test was 'contaminated' so they need me to do another test.  Couldn't they have told me that sooner rather than make me wait 5 days??  So, onto test #3 and it says lab test so maybe I have to give blood somewhere?  If not - I will be huddling in my closet again - slitting my fingers apart so I can drip enough blood on the damn paper and then not touch it while I shove it back in the envelope??  Sooo annoying.  By the time I actually get the results - I will be having my 20 week U/S and since it said it was contaminated - its probably b/c I am having yet another boy and they are just picking up all the male DNA from my previous 3 male children AND the new male baby !!! 

Should I just ask for a refund now and wait another 2 weeks for the U/S??????

 TMPOB told me i was having a boy, i have 4 boys already, i am expecting a girl in march, sooooooo wrong, funny thing is! i struggled with drawing blood and ended up using a new razor to slit my fingers to pieces , i only managed to fill 3 out of the 4 circles, i emailed them telling them this, they replied

"We require all circles to be completely filled to have sufficient blood to test normally. We usually repeat the test twice to make sure we get an accurate result, but if you've only filled three circles we will likely only have enough blood for one test. In such a case we will not be able to provide a refund in the event of an incorrect result. Would you like us to go ahead with testing anyway? Or alternatively we can send a new test kit out to you for £12.00".

So me getting a refund is out of the question, as i just told her i went through enough trying to get the 3 circles.

I am so glad to read your post.  I had to LOL when I read about you huddled in your closet slitting your fingers.  I have no idea whether or not you should wait, but I just completed my test last Friday.  It was AWFUL!  I went through all 4 of those lancets and had 1 circle filled.  I'm sure during my freakout after that, my test is more than contaminated, and I'll be redoing the test again.  I did figure out if you take the lancet apart and drive that needle into your finger you do get a lot of blood!  I filled to circles with one poke!

 I hoping for a little girl too!  I have two sons, and I'm worried they will l pick that up in the sample!  Let us know!!

Ooohhh - it hurts to type on my poor bruised bloodless fingers!!!  Anyways, they would not refund my money until they got a valid test and were proved wrong.  I told them my U/S was coming up so they better process the test REALLY quick and give me the right result.

It took sticking 4 fingers - 2 times each and literally getting blood everywhere but on the paper it seemed but I did finally fill the damn holes and sent the test in this morning (9/22).  I have my U/S 10/1........

I did use them last time and they told me BOY and I had a BOY but who knows if it was from previous BOY DNA or was male contaminated....

Will be suspicious if it says BOY again.....
