Hi everyone

I have had 2 injections of Microdose Lupron and I fee so dreadful that I don't know if I can continue.  I feel extremely anxious and sort of unstable - also no appetite and nausea but it's the horrible panic feeling that I can't bear.  Has anyone else experieenced this?  Is it going to last the whole time or does it subside?  I am due to start stims tomorrow night -what impact will that have?

, I will call my Doctor here as soon as the office opens, I know it is a holiday over there.... Please Help.

Oh no!  I was on Lupron for about a week only and felt a bit of nausea but that was it.  Are you sure the Lupron is making you feel this way and not everything you are going through with this journey?  Have you tried anything like yoga, meditation or some relaxation music?  May help, you never know!

I didn't feel odd on lupron. However, now that my dream is coming true and I have a BFP I am now feeling panicky.  It is very strange. I don't know if it's the pregnancy hormones, plus all of the hormones we have put in our bodies, but its a horrible feeling.  I know this doesn't exactly relate to your particular situation, but I know how unbearable that panicky feeling is (as I am experiencing). I hope you feel better soon.  I suggest you try deep breathing...it does help.

It sounds like you are feeling awful since you started the lupron.  More than likely it could just be a combination of the lupron and normal anxiety that seems to be felt by many when they start the process.  It is all overwhelming but when you finally start the meds it is very REAL.  I hope it subsides and you can focus and feel better.  I do remember that I really did not feel 100% the entire time I was doing all the IVF stuff but the hope of getting my daughter just kept me motivated and going despite how rotten I felt physically and mentally at times.  So I hope that this is just a minor bump for you and just a minor bridge to cross until you start your stims.  Hang in there!

Don't worry, you are not alone.  The Lupron did not do well for me.  I was very irrational and moody and just a plain old B****  I end up going through with it and after I got off the lupron I felt so much better.

Thank you so much for your replies, it's good to know I'm not the only one.  I think anxiety is a big part of this process untill you have your little person in your arms!  I spoke to my nurse and she said that anxiety is certainly something they see with Lupron (syneral or Lucrin) and that it should pass once I start my stim meds.  The extreme anxiety I have had seems to accompany hot flush symptoms and lasts for about half an hour but it is not constant like it was yesterday.

Thank you al for your comforting words and advice (CP I have been trying deep breathing and it really does help!)
