I am doing the girl diet, and I just wanted to post about making sure you get enough potassium.
For the past week I realized I wasn't getting enough potassium listed as the ok range for the girl diet (2500-3500 mg), and I chose to ignore that fact. I'm in the health care field and I should know better than that!
I was eating probably around 500-1000 mg, and I noticed I was getting muscle spasms and twitches in my hands which are symptom of low potassium.
Although Bananas are not on the girl diet I ate one to increase my potassium level, along with some yogurt with potassium. I felt way better and the twitches went away.
Just a reminder to stay within the ranges---although I want to lose weight and keep my girl diet values low, stay within the ranges for your own safety!

I am so blessed to have achieved a + HPT on DPO 12---first positive HPT October 10, 2009!! Only 1 BD attempt, at O+12, 2 days after the wedding (September 28, 2009). I guess first time, first shot is the charm!
