Are you one of THOSE girls???

Humor me I'm bored but I don't know if it's a Utah thing or what, but if your dh owns a truck do you sit right next to him instead of by the door? I don't get it. I always  think, "is that really neccessary, get off his nuts already" lol, so I appologize if you are but honestly that's what goes through my head. And it also took me forever to get use to everyone waving at me when I moved here too. I thought people were crazy or I was loosing my mind and didn't remember meeting them until I realized it was everyone. Probably just a Utah thing, idk.

lol def. not a Maine thing lol. That is kinds weird and when DH owned a truck I sat on the other side. Why would I wanna be shoved up his a$$?

My DH owns a truck, but it's not one to where there is a middle seat in the front, just two bucket seats basically so I can't in that truck, but honestly sometimes I just looooove DH sooo much and want to be stuck to him!! I know, it's sickening

 nope.. i dont' see that around here.. maybe more in the country areas.. but not around here!

This is so funny. I lived in Michigan until I was 17 so I never really paid attention to things like that so I wasn't sure if it didn't happen there or I just didn't pay attention. It totally makes sense to me that it's just in Utah, believe me there are lots of things you won't see anywhere in the country for sure.

Oh and what about touching? I moved here and thought every girl I met was trying to do me. Seriously, everyone here touches you when they talk and I hate it. I hate bubble bursters. You'd think they'd get the hint from me inching away from them, but nope, no clue. Oh and my hair. Why does everyone feel the need to touch my hair like they're peting me like I am a dog or something. lol

First, Yuck!  I know those girls...now maybe with a new boyfriend...but not DH Kidding!!!

The truck thing is very commong here in the south; especially in the more rural areas.  I've always thought the same thing...ridiculous

This makes me think of Joe Dirt or some redneck w/ a mullet riding down the road in a beat up pick up truck with a girly rubbing his thigh!

Out in the country a lot of people usually wave to eachother- it happens a lot here too. 

&Yes, I'm one of them girls...who sits right next to her DH when in the truck driving somewhere. I love being close to my husband, he spends all day at work and when we have to spend the time we get at home on the road, I like to sit next to him, talk, and hold his hand. Being across the truck would take louder voices and I like to just talk quietly amoungst us. We have a larger truck though, and the middle seat IS a seat, so I got plenty of space.

lol I swear they did, and where I come from if a girl hits on you, you don't argue, you go to blows, lol. Almost happended a few times and each time someone would try to stop me to explain to me that people just talk the way here.

I never have.  DH and I have always had trucks (although now it's SUVs), but even when dating, I never sat in the middle
