I floss every night, right before I go to bed. My dentist is great, so I don't want her to give me any lectures. Besides, it helps get all of that yucky stuff out from between my teeth.

Sounds like us! I love flossing and the way it feels and HAVE to do it every day. I try to get dh to do it more, but he says it hurts... I tell him more of a reason to do it! After all, the more you do it, the less it hurts! Duh!

I used to fall into the twice a year right before going to the dentist category, but since Glide floss was invented I have flossed every night and I can't stand to miss a night. I can't use any other kind of floss though--it gets caught between my teeth and shreds and it hurts my fingers. So if you hate flossing, try Glide! (Gosh, they should be paying me for this or something!) My husband flosses twice a year when the dental hygienist does it for him. I keep meaning to get the kids started on flossing, but I haven't done that yet.

Daily for me. I use those little pick thingies.
"If left alone in labor, the body of a woman produces most easily the baby that is not interfered with...If left alone, just courage and patience are required" -Grantly Dick-Read, MD "I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs" -Thomas Jefferson

I floss at least once a day. Usually before I clean my teeth to go to bed. On occassions I do it more often depending on what I've eaten or if there's something stuck between my teeth
It wasn't always like this, but a few trips to the dentist changed that and now I can't live without my floss!

Well of course I hate to admit this but I am a once or twice a week kinda person sometimes less. I just went to the dentist yesterday and she asked if I flossed. I laughed and said well my honest answer is no not really. She laughed and said well I am glad you are honest. She said we can always tell if people don't floss because they bleed. My teeth are really tight like M2RJA and she broke the floss 3 times so I was bleeding more than normal. She said I would be shocked the amount of people that lie and say they floss everyday! So funny! Glide does work but I still shread it half the time!

Yes, your gums will bleed pretty bad when you don't floss. Once you get into the routine it will stop. People lie about it all the time. It's actually pretty funny!

I try to floss often... it is just hard when the baby is screaming and ready to eat. She doesn't care whether or not I floss when it comes to her bottle. lol.
