How are the new mommies?

Wondering how everyone is adjusting to their new ones? Things are crazy here with 5 children in tow. Evelyn sleeps well, so I don't feel too tired. Patience is thin come 5 p.m. and my recovery is almost complete.

Sleeping better than I did when pregnant and after 14 weeks bedrest-magnificent. Having 3 under 4 is hard work but amazing. Enjoying every minute. Still recovering from a c-section, though.

I am fine physically, just tired (who isn't?).  Caroline is up about every 4 -4.5 hours to eat and has her "awake" period in the evening around dinner time.  It's not much harder than having the 5 boys, but the 2 y/o is giving me a little bit of a hard time.  He is just ssssoooo active that  I have a hard tme getting him down for his pm nap and keeping her content at the same time,  but I'm adjusting.  Now, we all have to adjust to school schedules !!!!

WOW....I am with you with school starting. That's a whole other thing to deal with. We don't start until Sept. 10, so I have some time. My boys are great with her, but I'm finding like you that my 2 year old will start raiding the cabinets when I am nursing. Yikes. So happy to report I do not have the tears like I did with ds #4. I was scared I would get this again but I've only had a few when I am really tired. Hugs to the new mommies!

 Healed up after first week, Miabella is now 3weeks old today. She feeds well but sleeps shocking, she is a real clingy mummys girl. Loves skin to skin & hugs, especially falling asleep on my belly or beside me. She is up every 2hrs with the very rare stretch of 3-4hrs, RARELY. So Im really tired!!

She feeding well though, gaining weight and getting bigger, still my tiny little princess though.

Im adjusting to two kids, I dont know how you mums do 3+ kids. Yikes! Hats off to you.

We're adjusting well. It's interesting adding a third child to the mix but I wouldn't have it any other way. My kids are in love with him, of course. He is 8lbs 8oz. now. He has started sleeping longer stretches at night (5-6 hours) even though we are BF, so that has been so nice.

Just a quick one from me!  We are doing wonderful!  Sawyer is now up to almost 9lbs and is a BF'ing champ!  He sleeps for about 3.5 hours stretches at night so that is nice!

His older sisters love him to pieces.  My DH just returned back to work today after 2wks at home, and he is already missing his girls and little guy!

It will be interesting to start the school routine on the 24th--I am already counting down the days until Christmas Break...I always miss my kiddos when they are away!
