Acupuncture for fertility

Was anyone here successful conceiving after acupuncture treatments?

 Some say they have had success and others will say it didn't help.  There are studies that also prove success and prove it not to matter as well.  Basically what I say is if it helps you to relax and you truly believe it will help with fertility then it is worth the money.  If not don't waste your time.  On my other IVF board I have seen it both ways as well.  I guess what I am trying to say is there is no rhyme or reason as to why it works for some and why it doesn't work for others.

Thanks, that's interesting.  In the case that it does work, can it help to strengthen your eggs too, or does it just help with implantation?

 It really only helps with implantation because it supposedly increases blood flow to the uterus.  You would need to find an accupuncturist that specializes in fertility though.  That is the most important thing.

Ugh. Mine seems to know what he's talking about regarding fertility, but I don't know that that's one of his specialties... He treats my allergies too!

 He probably does.  Most of them will tell you if they know about it or not so I would just see how it goes.  You never know.

Last question! : where will he stick in the needles??

 I actually don't have an answer for that one.    No clue.

Hopefully, not in my vjj!!     But I think here might be a few needles in the uterus area...  For my allergies, there were needles in sinus area, but also a bunch elsewhere on other "meridians" like hands, knees, feet....

 Hi I have never had accupuncture for fertility but I did have cervix rippening.  I am sure that it worked because I was 3 cm dialated and I wasnt even in labour when the dr checked me.  I loved it and had a few treatments just to make me feel better.
