forbiddendonut:See, this is part of the problem - there are plenty of names out there, but we just can't agree on them. It just so happens that some of the ones we agree on and both really like are taken! Which makes me want to use them even more! I have been there!!!!!!!!!!!! We have picked names, but boy was it hard, every name that we like was used by someone in our familys, so we finally just agreed on the names and that was it! It will come I promise, and you will love the names!

Girl names are just hard... period! I love Avery and Addison!!! I would have probably gone with Avery and Ainsley (or even maybe Addison) but got too much neg feedback (they think Ainsley sounds like bad body part)-- grrrr. I think you have nice choices and should go with them... honestly, sometimes I regret not going with what I really loved (Avery)-- but too many people said, "That's too common"... I love Kinsley, but I have a tad bit of regret STILL... there are days I just want to call her Brooke b/c I sometimes think I like that better.... so definitely go with your heart and gut and don't worry if it's too "popular" or if other's have the same name.... just my opinion.

This might be totally obvious, I might look so stupid, but what body part exactly?! I have a few friends named Ainsley and I dont believe they have ever ran into this problem...

Oh, that's right, I remember now that you were thinking about Avery. I like that one so much too! DH says he thinks it's too trendy as well. So we'll see.

Anus.... I think it's silly and doesn't sound anything like it, but a bunch of people would respond with that... GRRRRRRR! Actually I LOVE Kendall too.... so Kinsley is a mixture of Kendall & Ainsley. (and it wasn't even planned that way-- DH just came up with the name). I get a lot of compliments on Kinsley, so that's nice. I'm too much of a people pleaser which is RIDICULOUS!!!! What about Layla & Kayla. :) They can rhyme. :)

Have you considered HARPER? It's my fave girl name of the moment and if I get so lucky to have girl twins, I'm considering Harper and Hannah. Actually, we like Harper Leigh (which is a version of Harper Lee - author of To Kill a Mockingbird).
Here to talk about mothering and more since I'm no longer TTC. I love to give support and advice!

stacye:BTW... your baby bump is CUTE!!!!!!!!! Thanks, but I feel huge! And no way on the rhyming - DH has already forbidden that - LOL! BTW, I think you did good with the name - I really like Kinsley a lot better than Ainsley, and now that you said that it's going to stick in my mind forever! (the anus part)

You should use the names you love. How close are you to these co-workers anyway? I have such a large family, I have a cousin Sarah with a daughter Emily. I named my girls Sara and Emily. I don't see that cousin much anyway. The only time I opted not to use a name a cousin wanted was b/c she was due before me and has a hard time getting pregnant. I knew how special this name was for her. Plus I see her a lot. So, if you aren't close to these ppl you don't "owe" them anything. You will know when a name just "fits" for your kids then go for it!

How are you feeling? Are you any less scared and anxious about having twins?

Yeah, I'm doing pretty much ok. I'm just ready for them to be here now since I'm starting to get pretty big and miserable.
