can I turn off pm email?

I have my email option disabled in my profile and under PMs I have the send email option set to never, but when someone responds to my PM it still emails me. How can I disable it?

Sorry, it looks like this is a bug. I have tried to fix this before but the emailing stuff is really hairy (meaning, poorly and obscurely written by someone other than me, lol)
