Teradn's IVF/PGD Journey for a Daughter

Follow our adventure into unknown terriory... the land of PINK Dreams!!

Ahh Rainy Days and Pennies......

Ok so here I am, joining yet another board, but blogging for the first time.

So here we go:

A lil about me and my House of Blue!

My name is Tera, I am originally from Tn, moved here to Wa in 1996. Met my DH, Ernie,  in 1996, had a boy named Dade with him in 2001, married him 2003, had another boy Logan, in 2004, got Dx with PCOS in 2005, MC a baby girl in 2005 and then wouldn't ya know, we had another boy in 2007, Gage. Go figure!

Now I come from a family of all girls. So with DS#1, I said please be a boy and the rest can be whatever they wanna be. Hahaha, well lookie here.... they all wanna be boys I reckon! So DH and I have come up with a plan to out smart those sneaky rude boy spermies, IVF/PGD. Stick out tongue

Now when I had lil Gage, the OB doing the CS, told me no more kidsSad Crying, I had a uterine window so thin she could see Gage's hair and ear straight thru it. Well 6 wks later, and after some mighty talk from me, she conceeded it was doable for at least one more: tons of concessions on my part> no TTC for at least 2 yrs, NST during the PG> Amnio for lung maturity, CS as soon as we get an ALL clear on the lungs> possible bedrest to prevent rupture. So DH and I are on board for that elusive baby Girl. You know he wanted one from the first moment I said I was PG with Dade. And so here I am, waiting til April 2009, trying to NOT get PG on my ownEmbarrassed, and saving our pennies for that rainy day of transfer of girl embies. You do know it only rains in Seattle, right? Happy LMAO
