Got a sixpack, seven could be heaven, but eight would be great!

my journey through swaying the odds towards twin girls.

Experiment 1 GDC

We tried the gradient density centrifuge method which can be found here: http://www.in-gender.com/CS/forums/thread/34880.aspx

None of the sperm survived the 20min spin. However, we realized after the fact that the test tube was improperly placed and was rubbing on the cover. So it's possible the friction created too much heat and killed them.

 On a side note, I've discovered my ph is a 9 and dh's is a 7

You mad scientist-- just kidding!!  Wild.  I would think 20 minutes would be too long?   PH results interesting.   Do you need to try and lower yours?  Good Luck and I enjoy reading your blog!! TJ

Don't give up.  It is possible to do gdc without killing all the sperm.  Shawell tried the start top method- stopping every 10 minutes then going again.  Make sure you don't suddenly stop the centrifuge or you will kill all sperm instantly.

The day you deliver, outside will be cloudy. Your baby will arrive in the afternoon.
After a labor lasting approximately 4 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 8 pounds, 15 ounces, and will be 21 inches long. This child will have light brown eyes and a lot of hair.

yeah.... that baby was born before noon, was a BOY, it was quite sunny, he had blue eyes and blonde hair, though now it's brown, he weighed 8lb 8oz
