I concieved on Dec 3rd(same as my 1st!) and tested positive on the 13th but didn't know it until the 14th! When I took a test on the 14th and it looked positive, I got the one I took on the 13th to compare them(to make sure I wasn't seeing things) but the 13th was positive too! I guess I didn't wait around long enough to look for a line on the 13th. The one I took on the 12th was neg, I double checked ;-) I've taken 4 total positives so far, but don't think I am done yet lol With my first baby I took 10 total tests in the first week of finding out. I plan to do a digital later. The reason for my crazy test taking is that the lines are too faint for my liking.
I feel like I should make an acceptance speech! lol Like I just won the big pregnancy prize! This is my fourth month trying, 1st month with soy. Soy, I love you! I owe this pregnancy to soy I know it. I want to be the official spokesperson for soy. Also, Ingender, While I didn't post as much as I thought I would during this process, reading for hours on end has helped me to no end. Reading about other peoples BFPs, and soy, and everything else, ugh, I just love you all! Thank you thank you! And thank you for continuing to stick it out with me while I wait for gender sonograms, that will be the longest wait ever! I am a proud Gold member, I recommend even if you never use a Gold feature to join because supporting a group that is this beneficial and supportive is well worth while. Thank you again!
About mcknight88
Hi there! When I got pregnant with my first child, although I thought it would be a girl, I was thrilled it was a boy. I knew my husband, like most men wanted a boy so I felt so relieved to make him happy, my intention was to only have one, but as time has gone by, I really want a girl too! For a while I was so scared to try because I was afraid it might be a boy, but I think now, much from the help of reading all the forums here, I think I would be ok with two boys, The gender disappointment forum really helped me come to terms with that in advance(which I think is healthier than coming to terms with it in the moment) so if Liam gets a little brother that is ok, but, I desperately do want a girl too! I would be willing to have three to make it happen, and microsort the third, but if its a girl this time around, I'll stop at two! :) I'm getting my IUD out on monday 08/31/09, and I am going to wait one practice cycle (sept) then go full force into shettles and the girl diet, as best I can with my knowledge, I haven't found an 'exact' sample diet, just, eat more of this, less of this etc. so I am going to try my best. I have read the shettles book, and it seems promising. If you tried shettles and got what you wanted or didn't, please let me know :) Thanks for listening to me gab :) ............So, 4 months later, I threw shettle out the window and concentrated on the diet and supplements. I took soy for the month of dec and got pregnant the 1st round on soy! We are thrilled! Now to find out if its a girl or a boy....hummm..it's a boy! Ian was born 08/28/10 8 pds 7 ozs 20 3/4 inches
