Hi! I thought I should share a little about myself and life in general.
I am a 30 year old stay at home mother to an 11 yr old son.....a son whose teen years I am afraid will be the end of me! His name is Rowdy which seems to be alot to live up to because if it is not for his extreme swaying moods then it is his "lovely" attitude. Imagine this....an only child who is the only grandchild on both sides of the famiy and my inlaws are in their late 70s and did not ever think that they were going to have grandchildren. So he is a tad spoiled and convinced that he is gold! But he is the 'blessed miracle" that my mother in law called him when I found out I was pregnant (which wasn't exactly news to the ears of an 18 yr old with BIG dreams--but that is another story....haha)
I am a stay at home mom and housewife. I went to college for years off and on and have a Bachelor's Degree in Education and English Lit with a minor in Child Psychology. I just really liked school which is strange because other than the social aspect I wasn't really that great of a student before college. So my plans were to continue my education and get a Masters and my Doctorate. But those plans are on hold until we figure out our future in the TTC adventure. I don't work because of my husbands work schedule and when he is home we like to be home and going together....so I guess in the end I will be a very educated housewife! LOL
My dear hubby works overseas for an oil company so he is home for about 25 days every other month, so as you can imagine that hinders our TTC adventure a little. We have been married for 12 years this month, yes do the math....Rowdy did a few months ago and was "horrified" that his mother was pregnant before she was married....LOL.....he has seen all the pics of our huge wedding and the idea that he was there never crossed his mind! We never really considered other children. We like to travel a good bit and our son was at the age where when we went we no longer needed to rent a UHaul to bring all his necessities! I was on the pill and we never thought any more about it.....until September 2008.....actually on my son's birthday. Now it is all any of us in the family, even my parents! are thinking about.
