Danielle's Experience with Baby Gender Mentor

Danielle is a mother of two boys, and used Acu-Gen's Baby Gender Mentor test to learn whether her third baby, due in December 2005, is a boy or a girl.

the results are in...it's a boy-AGAIN!

I got my  second Accu-Gen results back today. Not only does it tell me that I should be expecting a boy because Y- fetal Material is very apparent, but it told me that there is not traceable X fetal material at all- that there is no way I could be having a girl- even with a vanishing twin a girl is not a possibility for me.  So I am right back where I stareted- confused!  I was just starting to let my heart prepare for a girl AND WAS HOPING THIS SECOND TEST WOULD ALLOW ME TO DO THAT! But, no.....

I took the baby gender mentor test a few weeks ago and I got the same result as you. I am not far enough along to confirm the pregnancy, but there is something that I don't understand with these results...

How is it possible that these tests have "no traceable x fetal material" for any test?

I always thought that embryos with two X chromosomes develop into females, while embryos with an X and a Y chromosome develop into males. Doesn't that mean that X fetal material would be detectable for both female and male babies? I hope I don't sound stupid, I am just so confused by these results!
