Danielle's Experience with Baby Gender Mentor

Danielle is a mother of two boys, and used Acu-Gen's Baby Gender Mentor test to learn whether her third baby, due in December 2005, is a boy or a girl.

Silver Lining

In my internet travels I found In-Gender.com and Maureen. I e-mailed her my story and she got back with me with any information she had on the test, the lab and why my results could have been wrong. Just having someone to talk to via the internet has been wonderful and I am so thankfful.  She has givien me information on what is called a vanishing twin- basically where you begin your pregnancy with two, but for whatever reason loose one. Could I have been carrying a boy and a girl and lost the boy?  When this happens the baby can be reabsorbed and this DNA from that baby can be detected in your blood.  This is a reasonable explanation- and both Accu-Gen Labs and the ultrasoound would be right.

I am still in Limbo- I have monogrammed little boy things for this baby I thought was a boy and my 3 year old calls him by name and now I don't know what to tell him.
