I had my ultra sound today- just the routine one you have between 18 and 20 weeks. In the past this has been a HUGE day for us as this is when we have found out the sex of our babies. But today I left in tears......
My husband and I got to the office -and I must tell you that we have this wonderful relationship with my OB practice. We love them and they love us. We have a long family history, and they know and love me and I love that about them. So when we got there the ultra sound tech came out smiling and was so excited to see us- " I'm hoping we see a girl today," she said. I smiled and told her that we already know it was a boy from our accurate Baby Gender Mentor Test, but that we wanted the pictures anyway. Right away she looked and our cooperative baby had the legs open and she said- "It's clearly a girl!" After a two hour ultrasound and three physician consults later they still felt the baby inside of me was a girl- clearly. They know me and my heart- I am a girly girl with two boys and they know a little girl would be wonderful news for us- unless they believed in to be a girl in their heart of hearta they would never have told me that they were sure the baby was a girl. As I left, one of the physicians told me that the ultra sound tech had never been wrong. And yet, Accu-Gen and Baby Gender Mentor claim that they have never been wrong either... I am a first mistake for someone.
